Greenwich Peninsula, London

Another portion of ‘lazy’ iPhone X photography from Greenwich Peninsula in London. Starting at the North Greenwich station, past the O2, along the Thames, across the retail park – the least attractive part – and then through the gentrified area and uphill towards the famous London panorama. The Greenwich Park is vast and pleasant. I didn’t book the online tickets and was turned away from the Royal Obserwatory…too bad.

Compared to the buzz of central London, Greenwich is almost peaceful. I was extremely thirsty having walked for over an hour in a hot weather, and the nearest shop was M&S Food…I’ll tell you a little secret: they sell cheap (!) soft drinks like this one but they’re hidden away at the back of the shop. There was a street food market next to Cutty Sark, but it was too hot for me for such food and it was overpriced anyway.
